Member Associations

“We joined the WFSJ to be part of a vibrant team of science journalist associations, in order to learn and interact with each other. As journalists who are passionate about the advancement of science journalism in Kenya, the WFSJ offers the best global platform for such co-operation. The Federation has also distinguished itself as the key global platform that connects science journalists. I saw this through the Sjcoop program, which accorded me an opportunity to grow and mingle and learn from journalists across the globe.”

Rosalia Omungo
Chairperson of the Kenya Environment and Science Journalists Association

The WFSJ has two categories of members

  1. Full Members  are entitled to attend, speak, and vote at the Annual General Assembly.
  2. Honorary Members are entitled to attend and speak but do not have the right to vote. Honorary Members are organizations and individuals that have rendered exemplary voluntary service or financial contribution in support of the WFSJ’s objectives. Honorary Members are not required to pay annual dues.

The WFSJ represents more than 60 national, regional, and international member associations, with more than 10,000 science journalists and other individual members of our community.
