The Argentine Network of Science Journalism Association (RADPC) organized two meetings on science in the province of Córdoba on Friday and Saturday (August 5-6, 2016) and one meeting in Buenos Aires (June 21).

The first meeting on Friday, supported by the Pan-American Health Organization, was on disasters, such as floods, earthquakes, and the management of donations during and after these events. The meeting on Saturday was attended by researchers from the Argentine Society of Neuroscience who talked about the neuroscience of addiction, Parkinson, Alzheimer, and other issues of the human brain.

Training for 35 members from different provinces was also provided. jORNDAOPSRADPC9RADPC also organized a meeting in Buenos Aires about super bugs and antibiotic resistance with federal researchers of ANLIS / Malbrán (Administración Nacional de Laboratorios e Institutos de Salud), a public national institution for research and monitoring on infectious disease. During the meeting, members of the association visited a laboratory where scientists are working on super bugs. An article (in Spanish) on the visit and the research can be found on the Clarin website here.
